I wanted to update any visitors to this site to let them know that I’m still “cured”!
I had my five year checkup (well its been 6 years since diagnosis but five years since ending treatment) last week and everything looks normal. My CA 27-29 levels were well within normal range at 18.7.
The other big news is that I got engaged over Christmas and married in October of 2017. I hadn’t really discussed the changes in life that have come about since my diagnosis but I did get a divorce but am happily engaged to a pretty spectacular fellow!
It’s pretty interesting how life’s turnabouts can really change your life for the better even when things seem at their worst.
